Big Foot Resort is located near Alexandria Minnesota (just off I94), on one of the finest fishing lakes in the state, Lake Mary. For those that have been here, you know why the lake has a great reputation, but those that haven't been here, we're sure you would appreciate the excellent fishing of Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike, Sunfish, and Walleye. The water clarity of over 6 feet adds to the enjoyment of the lake.
If you're not a fishing enthusiast, Lake Mary boasts nearly 2500 acres of water (approximately 5 miles long, and 1.5 miles wide), which is plenty of room to do whatever water sport or recreation you wish, and not get in the way of anyone else. Big Foot has nearly 1000 feet of lakefront and 19 acres of land to relax and wander around on.
We have Pontoon, and aluminum boats/motors for rent (provided with preservers if you don't have your own), and we offer the free use of a paddle boat for our guests.
Our office has fishing licenses, live bait, tackle, groceries, games, and souvenirs. Near the cabins and RV park is a playground for kids of all ages.
